Finalization of the photovoltaic technician training curriculum, November 2018
Following the presentation in July 2018 of PROMESS and the provisional version of the training repository, adjustments were proposed and elements relating to entrepreneurship declined on the GERME model were added.
Training has been recalibrated in the form of modules (M1 = refresher course, M2 = SHS, etc.). This means that training is no longer offered as a single, continuous block lasting several months, but in the form of independent, progressive modules that can be interspersed with practical experience. This necessarily has an impact on the flow and planning of training courses, but also offers the possibility of organizing modules according to demand and needs.
Modules | Photovoltaic expertise | Entrepreneurial skills |
Module 1. Upgrade | Basic knowledge of algebra, French, units of measurement, etc. | Situate yourself in relation to the profession and the training approach |
Module 2. Solar home system | Sizing, installation, maintenance | Draw up a sales price, an invoice and monitor your activity |
Power: < 1 kWp (with small inverter) | ||
Module 3. Facilities for professional use, urban or rural public communities | Sizing, installation, maintenance | Plan your business and understand your environment (market, tools, regulations, etc.). |
Power: 1 - 20 kWp | ||
Module 4. Hybrid system, grid-connected, pumping | Master the 'non-PV' variables on solar pumps and grids, carry out technical and economic studies and manage maintenance. | Anticipating and managing your business |
Power: 5 to 6 kWp with diesel or grid back-up, 35 kWp with surplus sale |
