The President of the PVSYST Foundation and the Project Manager carried out a mission to identify the opportunities and limits of intervention in Senegal for the PVSYST Foundation.

The mission enabled us to meet decentralized cooperation players in Saint Louis (Le Partenariat) and Fatick (Initiatives et Développement), as well as rural social enterprises (Kayer, Sopreef), training centers (La Ferme de Kaydara, CIFOP) and operators in the energy and environment sectors (GERES).

On the basis of the information gathered, past and current initiatives and the needs expressed, the PVSYST Foundation plans to initially focus its action in a rural area on training and integration in the renewable energies sector, particularly photovoltaics.
